Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Engage Athletic.

We’re a locally owned business proudly manufacturing custom sublimated apparel in Melbourne and supplying a range of ready-to-ship stock garments.

Some of our products are made to order (custom designed specifically for you), while others are stock items (standard, non-customised products held in inventory). Because these product types are different, different conditions may apply.

These Terms & Conditions explain how orders work, including production timeframes, payments, shipping, returns, and what to do if there’s a fault. By placing an order with Engage Athletic, you agree to these terms.

Retail Customer Terms & Conditions – 2026

The Terms & Conditions below apply to all retail customers placing orders with Engage Athletic for Stock Products.  Stock products include standard, non-customised garments held in inventory and supplied without custom artwork or personalisation.

  1. Availability & Dispatch
  • Stock products are typically dispatched within 8 business days, subject to availability.
  • Delivery timeframes vary depending on the shipping method selected at checkout.
  1. Returns & Exchanges
  • Stock products may be eligible for return or exchange only if unused, unworn, and in original condition, subject to approval by Engage Athletic.
  • Requests for returns or exchanges must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.
  1. Faults
  • If a stock product is received with a manufacturing fault, customers must notify Engage Athletic in writing within 7 days of receipt, providing supporting photographs.
  • Where a fault is confirmed, Engage Athletic will offer a repair, replacement, credit, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

 

The Terms & Conditions listed below apply to all retail customers placing orders with Engage Athletic for Custom Made to Order Products.

  1. Turnaround Time

Our standard production timelines are:

  • 4–5 weeks for regular garments
  • Up to 6 weeks for more complex garments (e.g. tracksuits)

Production timelines commence once both full payment and final order details have been received, whichever occurs last.

Final order details must include:

  • Quantity per size, per garment style (Engage Athletic order template available)
  • Custom names and/or numbers (if applicable)
  • Delivery address and a mobile contact number

Production timelines apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Express Production Services (2- or 3-week turnaround) may be available at an additional surcharge and are subject to availability and approval.

Any changes to the initial brief, order details, artwork, or payment may result in production delays.

During peak production periods, timelines may vary. Customers will be advised where possible.

  1. Invoices & Payment

All orders are produced strictly in accordance with the invoice issued by Engage Athletic.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review and confirm that the invoice accurately reflects their order requirements.

Full payment is required upfront prior to production commencing and prior to delivery timelines being confirmed.

  1. Artwork & Design

An artwork proof will be supplied for all new designs or updated artwork.

Orders will be produced exactly as per the final approved artwork.
It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review and provide written sign-off prior to production.

Artwork and graphic design services are charged per hour, unless otherwise quoted.

Where artwork time exceeds the original estimate, additional costs will be:

  • Communicated to the customer
  • Approved by the customer
  • Paid prior to the additional work being undertaken

Artwork fees apply where logos or designs are not supplied in an acceptable format
(AI, EPS, and some PDF file types accepted).

Colour matching to existing garments may incur additional graphic design fees (Price on Application).

  1. Minimum Order Quantities
  • Initial Orders: Minimum of 10 units per garment style and ColourWay
    (e.g. 10 polos, 10 t-shirts)
  • Re-Orders: Minimum of 7 units per garment style
  1. Returns, Faults & Warranty

Engage Athletic garments are custom made to order.
Change-of-mind returns, size exchanges, and cancellations are not accepted once production has commenced.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all order details, including sizing, quantities, names, numbers, and artwork approvals, are correct prior to final sign-off.

In the event of a manufacturing fault or defect, customers must notify Engage Athletic in writing within 14 days of receipt of goods, providing clear photographs and a description of the issue.

Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, Engage Athletic will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the item, or
  • Replace or remake the item, or
  • Provide a credit or refund

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, incorrect washing, or failure to follow care instructions
  • Size or fit issues once garments have been produced
  • Errors resulting from customer-approved artwork, names, numbers, or specifications

Minor variations in colour, fabric texture, placement, or finish may occur due to the sublimation process and are not considered faults.

Approved replacements or remakes will follow standard production timelines unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

  1. Faults Claim Process

To lodge a manufacturing fault claim, customers must follow the process below:

  1. Notify Engage Athletic within 14 days of delivery
    Claims must be submitted in writing and include the order or invoice number.
  2. Provide supporting evidence, including:
    • Clear photographs (close-up and full garment)
    • Description of the fault
    • Garment style, size, and any relevant name/number
    • Quantity affected (if more than one item)
  3. Do not return items unless instructed
    Engage Athletic will advise if items need to be returned for assessment and will provide instructions if required.
  4. Assessment
    Engage Athletic will assess the claim and confirm whether the issue is a manufacturing fault.
  5. Resolution
    If a fault is confirmed, Engage Athletic will provide a remedy in line with Section 5 of these Terms & Conditions.
  6. If the claim is not accepted
    Where the issue falls outside manufacturing fault (e.g. wear and tear, incorrect care, or customer-approved specifications), no remedy will be provided, and the customer will be notified.
  1. General

Custom garments cannot be modified, cancelled, or refunded once production has commenced.

Engage Athletic is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, late approvals, or delayed payment.
